Civil Engineers

We are looking to recruit Civil Engineers to join our growing team.

As a small, award-winning consultancy we provide our engineers with an excellent opportunity to get involved in all aspects of our design work.

You would be working on planning and design issues relating to transport, highways, drainage and utilities on a range of residential, retail, industrial and commercial developments. All engineers are encouraged and assisted to progress their trainingtowards ICE professional qualifications through our ICE approved Training Scheme, with internal and external training opportunities being provided.

Role

The varied role will initially start with by assisting in the production of infrastructure designs for technical approval and construction. We will also train you to produce Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments and Utility Strategies to support planning applications. You can expect to be working on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to, and be mentored by, one of our management team, all of whom are Chartered Civil Engineers.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain a wide range of experience at the start of a career in civil engineering consultancy.

Requirements

You will have graduated in the last few years with a good (2:1 or above) BEng or MEng Civil Engineering degree and ideally will have 2 or 3 years consultancy experience. You will have good written and spoken communication skills. However, what we are really looking for is someone who is enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and be able to work as part of a team. Working experience of WinDes, PDS or Civil 3D would be preferred along with a sound knowledge of AutoCAD, but full training will be given.
