Exeter Chiefs - English and European Champions - a sponsor's view

We've sponsored a number of Chiefs players over the years. We've enjoyed getting to know a few of them at various AWP team training days or business development events. Without exception they are impressive young men. So it's made the last fortnight even more special as they have become both European and English Premiership champions.
We've sponsored Joe Simmonds for his entire professional career at Exeter. We've watched with a sense of pride as he has made his way into the first team squad, where he obviously learned so much from Gareth Steenson. Over the last year or so, he has become first choice fly half and this season has become the regular captain. In the last month he has been man of the match in the Premiership semi-final win over Bath and again in the European final win over Racing 92. He has also become the youngest captain ever to lead his side to win either trophy. What an incredible month.
Congrats to the whole club on their fantastic season. They are superbly run both off and on the pitch and represent the whole of the south-west so well. Hopefully it won't be long before we're all able to get back and watch them defend both trophies.
