AWP are proud to announce that we have recently become a Certified B Corp™!
B Corps are certified against the B Lab Standards, a globally recognised framework that assesses a company across verified social, environmental, and governance standards. (Learn more at http://bcorp.com) We decided to seek certification as we felt that the AWP values aligned with B Corp™ and were keen to join a global community of likeminded businesses.
Through certification, we have confirmed where AWP align with B Lab standards and identified areas of improvement for projects and office operations, with implementation underway!
At AWP, we’ve always believed that successful development should create positive outcomes for people, places and the environment. Becoming a Certified B Corporation™ reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality engineering and planning solutions while operating responsibly, supporting our team, and contributing positively to the communities we work in. Read more on our B Corp Certified website page.
To celebrate this, we held a Summer Party for staff at Quayside Distillery. Thank you Streamers for assisting with our decoration needs!
And a huge thank you to everyone at AWP who helped make this certification possible!
