Football Shirt Friday

The team wore their favourite football shirts in support of the Cancer Research Bobby Moore Fund!

Bobby was a footballer who captained West Ham and led the England men’s senior team to their first and only World Cup victory in 1966. He was only 51 years old when he passed away. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 48 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.

Here’s a photo of some of the team in the office today enjoying the sunshine and showing their support.
