This week, we’re proud to celebrate all of our apprentices and the valuable contribution they make to AWP. Here are some pictures with a handful of our apprentices to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2026!
Two of our apprentices have shared some words on what it is like to grow their career at AWP:
Jake began his apprenticeship and career with AWP and Exeter College in July 2025. He is currently working towards his Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician qualification.
Jake says, “I really enjoy my time as an Apprentice at AWP. At every step of my learning journey, I’m supported and surrounded by people with a wealth of knowledge, especially when it comes to balancing college and work. AWP make the college process seamless due to the countless people who have done it before.”
Sophie joined AWP in February 2025 as an Apprentice Business Administrator in our Operations Team. Sophie shares, “As an apprentice, I have many role models at AWP to look up to and inspire me to achieve the best I can. The continuous professional development across all levels at AWP is highly admirable. I really value the training and advice I receive from my managers and would highly recommend the apprenticeship route to anyone looking to begin and progress their career.”
