We were appointed by long-standing client LVA to provide input to an outline planning application for 100 residential dwellings on land in the village of Keinton Mandeville in Somerset. As well as providing engineering input to the development of the scheme masterplan, we completed the Transport Assessment and associated access drawings, and the Flood Risk Assessment and drainage strategies.

A key consideration for this scheme was the delivery of measures to provide connectivity for pedestrians with the community facilities within the village, and the careful integration of the Sustainable Urban Drainage solution with the landscaping strategy.

Following the planning committee meeting in June 2025 when the Council resolved to grant planning consent, LVA commented that “This is a cracking scheme which is the culmination of many months (if not years) hard work by LVA and its consultant team. Really pleased to get this one over the line following good collaboration with Officers at Somerset Council.”
