Planning application submitted for Nansledan Primary School

One of the key parts of the masterplan for the urban extension at Newquaywas the provision of a new primary school. Over the last couple of months we have provided engineering and masterplanning support for its planning application.

As well as ensuring the school could be accessed in its final masterplan position we also had to ensure that it could operate in a standalone state until the surrounding development and infrastructure was in place. Therefore whilst working within a very compressed timeframe to prepare the application we also had to consider the phasing implications.  The AWP team, led by Pete, provided the transport, drainageand servicesadvice and worked closely with the large Duchydesign team to ensure the design was coordinated.

The planning application has recently been submitted and it is anticipated that once consent is gained, work will start on site very soon after.
