"Working with Dan and the team at AWP has been a pleasure. Their input and knowledge has resulted in practical solutions to some difficult drainage issues and detailed highway matters all of which was delivered on time and as scheduled. I will be using them in the future and would highly recommend their dynamic approach."
I have always been an avid rock and metal fan and I am lucky enough to spend a lot of my evening’s rocking-out in a local metal band called ‘Backhand Saloon’. I regularly perform locally but have also had the chance to play live on BBC Introducing Devon as well as touring the country with other musicians.
After completing a two year Mechanical Engineering course at Exeter College I managed to land myself a job for a multi-national engineering consultancy. Since starting my career as a fresh faced teenager I have gained 9 years’ experience working on a variety of schemes and sectors namely residential, commercial and retail from planning to detailed design.
During my time at AWP I have progressed to Senior Engineer and become a member of the ICE establishing myself as a project manager within the detailed design team.
As a Project Manager I am committed to gaining section agreements (S38, S278, S104) and technical approvals at detailed design but I’m no stranger to the planning process regularly helping clients gain planning approvals.
I have an active role in the development of the junior members of the team acting as the liaison between AWP and Exeter College, with an overarching focus on a timely and successful delivery of schemes.
