2024 New Year’s Honours

Some fantastic news to start off the new year, we are delighted to announce six promotions within AWP.
Ceri Middleton has been promoted to Transport Planner. Ceri has had a very strong 2023 during which he has firmly established himself as a valued and trusted member of Team Transport. His enthusiasm and diligence at training / developing other members of staff has been appreciated, and he has done extremely well to balance a busy workload whilst also taking on more responsibility with project management and building client relationships.
Millie Hunt has been promoted to Operations Coordinator. Millie has had a fantastic year at AWP, demonstrating her wide range of skills, flexibility and positive attitude, and this promotion reflects the development of her role, taking on greater responsibility to support the operational side of the business including HR support and staff welfare.
Jake Richards has been promoted to Senior Engineer. This is reflective of Jake’s longstanding hard work and successes with many projects across the Southwest; Hoe Lane in Romsey, Marnhull in Dorset, Nansledan in Newquay, and Poundbury in Dorchester to name a few. Jake has received lots of positive client and local authority feedback due to the exemplary technical work he has produced. Jake also assists with training, imparts his knowledge onto others within the team, and has stepped up to take on more project management, resource management, and finance control, along with building strong client relationships.
Tom Richards has been promoted to Senior Technician in recognition of his efforts to guide and support more junior members of staff, whilst also continuing to enhance his own technical capabilities. He has demonstrated greater appreciated for the application of design solutions and is beginning to take on an increased level of responsibility on project delivery and client contact.
Letisha Blackmore has been promoted to Senior Engineer after another successful year with AWP. She has developed professionally across all aspects of her role, building strong relationships with key clients, and acting as a trusted advisor on flood risk or drainage matters. She has also continued to develop her technical capabilities, whilst remaining focused on project and line management.
Jacob De la Croix has been promoted to Senior Engineer. This reflects his hard work and increased input on a number of projects taking on more responsibility for project management and delivery. Largely working on the Comeytrowe scheme over the last few years, Jacob has been vital inthe delivery of both detail design and satisfying planning requirements to maintain momentum on what is a wide-ranging and complex project.
