"AWP has been a core part of the consultant team influencing the masterplan through comprehensive drainage and transport strategies. The result is a very exciting masterplan and, once complete, I am convinced this will be a high quality and well regarded scheme."

Happy New Year everyone.

It was a hectic last couple of weeks before Christmas at AWP Towers as we managed to submit planning applications for a number of large schemes including:

Royal Brunswick Park, North London. We helped long-standing client Comer Homes submit an outline application for a new residential development of 1,200 homes and a new secondary school on the site of the current London Borough of Barnet Council offices. This month's image is of one of the attractive areas of public open space that will be provided by this scheme masterplaned by Plus Architecture.

Westbury. We provided engineering input to support an outline planning application for up to 300 dwellings on a 55-acre site, located on the north western edge of Westbury for client Square Bay. In parallel, a detailed application was made for the relocation of the existing Westbury Sailing Club with a new club house, dinghy park and parking.

We were also pleased to see a couple of tricky smaller schemes receive planning approval. Ian and Alex both overcame highways objections for proposed developments at High Bullenand Rockbeare respectively.

Its only a week into 2016, but we've been delighted to be appointed on a number of interesting new projects. We will update our team experiencesection of the website with details in due course.

And finally for this month's news, we're pleased to announce the following promotions in the AWP New Year's Honours List. Congratulations to Pete, Graham, Rodin, Dan, Matt, Jakeand Jon.
