"It was hoped that after the months of remote working and furlough, AWP would come together, agree on a contract – and Review, Reset, Recalibrate. This they did."

With the weather set fair we’ve dusted off the AWP camera and taken a few photos of projects we’re currently working on.

As can be seen in the photo above, work is progressing on the remaining three blocks which will face onto Queen Mother Square in Poundbury. When complete this will be one of the most impressive new squares built in the UK for many years. We’re continuing to help developers CG Fry, Zero C and Morrish Builders as well as the Duchy of Cornwall on the infrastructure design for the next phases of this urban development.

Work is also nearing completion on the conversion of the former Belmont Hospitalsite in Tiverton where Devonshire Homes have done a great job in refurbishing this Grade II listed building.

And in Exeter, construction of the new Skoda car dealership is progressing rapidly on one of the few remaining plots on Phase 2 of Marsh Barton.

We’ve had a good month with successful Planning Appeals for new residential developments at Probus, Porthpean Road in St Austell and Bickington. We look forward to helping client Wainhomes deliver these schemes.

And in response to an ever-increasing workload, we have appointed four new members of staff to join us over the next couple of months.
