Hi everybody. Many thanks to all of you who joined us for what was a really enjoyable office opening party a couple of weeks ago. It was good to speak to so many clients and co-professionals and think how far we have come in the last two years.

Back to the day job . . . we've recently submitted a TA and FRA to support an outline planning application for Hitchcocks Business Park in Mid Devon. This was a tricky scheme with a number of extant permissions which we rolled up into a single strategic solution which has met with support from both DCC and the EA respectively.

In the last few days a couple of schemes we worked on earlier in the year have both been granted planning permissions. In Royal Wootton Bassett we managed to help the EA withdraw an objection on a scheme of 68 dwellings and a care home for Wainhomes while in Devon a small scheme of 20 dwellings in Thorverton for the Church Commissioners of England was also approved.

Finally for this month, we recently took a couple of clients to see the Exeter Chiefs comprehensively beat Harlequins and we've entered a team in the Exeter Chiefs Corporate Quiz to defend our joint 3rd or 4th place from last year.
