Landkey

North Devon

In 2013, we were asked by Devonshire Homes to undertake the detailed infrastructure design for a small development at Denes Road in Landkey, North Devon.

This scheme has been built out over the last couple of years and the completed development looks really good (1st photo above).

Building on that work, we were subsequently appointed to undertake our normal suite of engineering work to support an outline application for 77 new dwellings on the eastern edge of the village (all other images above). North Devon Council initially refused the outline planning application, but with Alex providing expert highways advice at the Planning Inquiry, permission was granted in 2015. We subsequently undertook further design work to discharge planning conditions and help secure Reserved Matters Approval in 2017. We are currently undertaking the detailed infrastructure design and will be submitting S104 and S38 Technical Approval applications.

Working closely with project architects Clifton Emery Design we have recently prepared a TA and FRA to support an outline application for Phase 2 of this development for a further 153 homes.
