Over the last year or so we've worked with Petroc College providing civil engineering input for a series of planning applications. The most recent of these, the new Lifestyle and Engineering Centres on the Barnstaple campus was recently granted planning permission by North Devon Council. The above image is of the new Engineering Centre and is reproduced courtesy of Peregrine Mears Architects. Work on both the new Engineering and Construction Skills Centre and the café and kitchen building on Petroc's Tiverton campus is progressing well on site.
More good project news from North Devon; a scheme we've been working on with long-standing clients Devonshire Homes recently secured planning permission at appeal. The Inspector's decision was to allow the appeal and grant outline planning permission for up to 95 dwellings for the site in Chumleigh.
And finally for planning permissions this month, a development of 17 affordable dwellings at Ham Drivein Plymouth where we provided engineering input including a Transport Statement and a Flood Risk Assessment for client Plymouth Community Homes was also recently approved.
We're pleased to be able to report that Gavin Wrighthas recently passed his HNC Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment at Exeter College.
We're settling into our new officenow and are looking forward to our office opening party to be held in September. Keep an eye on your inbox for your invite .
