Exeter City Futures

12/12/17

AWP are supporting Exeter City Futures, a Community Interest Company (CIC) created to solve the global challenges of energy use and traffic congestion.

Ian and Daisy attended a workshop on Tuesday 5th December to discuss how we can deliver 10 times more active commuters to support Exeter to become healthier, cleaner and congestion free.

With a number of private and public sector representatives in attendance, ideas ranged from the more radical (banning cars from certain streets during peak hours) to the slightly more realistic (creating more park and cycle hubs), and everything in between. It is hoped that one initiative will be taken forward and be realised in the near future
