Planning permission in Plymouth

We were delighted to hear that Clarion Housing Group's planning application for the regeneration of the Barne Barton estate in Plymouth was recently approved by Plymouth City Council.
Last year we were appointed by Clarion to work with Clifton Emery Design to develop a master plan for the redevelopment of over 200 existing flats in the Poole Park Road area of the Barne Barton estate. The new development will be 100 per cent affordable, with a mix of homes for social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership. The scheme will deliver 102 houses and 102 apartments.
Alex Wozniczko and Alex Hanks prepared the Transport Statement and Framework Travel Plan to support the detailed planning application. We also provided high-level advice on street hierarchy/layout matters, the design principles of the new shared space areas and parking arrangements, road closure/stopping up issues, input to the emergency access and refuse collection strategies.
We look forward to seeing this much needed urban regeneration scheme being completed.
