"Thank you and your colleagues very much for the wonderful cake… it was much appreciated and didn’t last long! Nothing quite like cake and coffee on a grey day and I know our residents enjoyed it."

And another planning permission for St Austell Brewery

23/03/17

We've recently helped secure planning permission for another proposed development for St Austell Brewery. This time its a cafe right next to the beach in Port Gaverne on the North Cornish coast. We're looking forward to visiting the cafe when its open later this year.

Part of the site is in the high risk flood zone 3 and therefore we were required to prepare a site specific Flood Risk Assessment. As part of this FRA we undertook a wave analysis to assess the risk of wave overtopping the coastal road and spray reaching the new cafe. We liaised with the EA to agree the development would be safely above the 1 in 200 year flood level and agreed suitable flood mitigation works.

We've also helped St Austell Brewery secure planning permission for a new boutique hotel next to the Mill on the Exein Exeter and are currently working with them and their consultant team on a new hotel in East Devon.
