"PCH were really pleased with AWP’s no-nonsense approach to dealing with a small but important scheme. Their advice was timely, spot on and gained us the technical approvals we needed for the permission."

Annabel Harris ICE Chartership

29/10/24

We are extremely proud to announce that Annabel Harris, Principal Engineer at AWP, has obtained Chartered Engineer status, becoming a professionally qualified member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Annabel joined AWP as a new Graduate Engineer in 2015, and during her 9 years with the company has gained a broad range of experience in all of our delivery teams, including transport, flood risk and infrastructure design. She is now leading her own team of 4 people, working on the detailed design for highways and drainage for a series of major developments across the region.

"As the AWP Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE) I have enjoyed supporting and mentoring Annabel through her ICE journey to Chartership using AWP’s accredited ICE training scheme. We are extremely proud of her achievements and her Chartership is thoroughly well deserved. Well done Annabel!" – Peter Matravers, Director.

"Receiving my chartership this year has been an amazing achievement for me. I have been supported by AWP over the last 9 years to really grow my skills across a variety of areas which helped me to achieve this milestone and become the engineer I am today." - Annabel Harris.

Annabel attended the ICE Certificate Presentation Ceremony in London in September to mark the fantastic achievement.

Our graduate training scheme is approved by the ICE and we are fully committed to supporting our graduates through their civil engineering careers through team rotations, training and mentoring.
