"I have worked alongside the AWP team in previous roles and on our current regeneration and renewal programme and am delighted that we have such a focused and professional resource available to the development community in the City. The AWP pragmatic approach to problem solving has helped unlock complex issues in city centre development"

Cycle September

04/10/19

With sustainable and active travel a major part of the work we do on behalf of our clients, AWP decided to practise what we preach and take part in the Devon County Council Cycle September initiative.

The uptake in the office was great with AWP coming 2nd in Devon and 14th nationally for companies with between 20-49 staff. We also pedalled circles around many of the larger companies.

With almost half the office cycling at one point or another throughout the month, and some getting on a bike for the first time in many years, cycle September can be considered a success. Cycle September saw the beginning of an office wide push for greater levels of sustainable and active travel in line with many of the Exeter City Futures - Twelve Goals for Exeter, of which AWP has committed to.
