"Thank you and your colleagues very much for the wonderful cake… it was much appreciated and didn’t last long! Nothing quite like cake and coffee on a grey day and I know our residents enjoyed it."

Local press coverage

08/12/17

Earlier this year we worked on the Thorverton and Brampford Speke Community Access Project to help open up a rural highway that was subject to a landslip in 2012 following torrential rain and became impassable.

Hulk Lane was formally reopened in a ribbon cutting ceremony on site last weekend. Pete, who led our input on this scheme, attended the re-opening of the road which was closed to all traffic as a result of the landslip. As can be seen in the local press coverage, a large number of local residents came out to see Devon County Councillor Margaret Squares formally re-open the road.

“This is a great community asset for generations of families, dog walkers, cyclists and horse riders to enjoy for many years to come,” Councillor Squires said as she cut the ribbon at the official opening.
