"I have worked alongside the AWP team in previous roles and on our current regeneration and renewal programme and am delighted that we have such a focused and professional resource available to the development community in the City. The AWP pragmatic approach to problem solving has helped unlock complex issues in city centre development"

We have recently helped one of our long-standing clients, the Duchy of Cornwall, to secure planning permission for a new park called ‘Park an Chapel’ on land between Nansledan and Quintrell Downs in Newquay. The park, which is part of the wider Nansledandevelopment of up to 4,000 homes, will comprise a community orchard, allotment gardens, recreation space, a network of pedestrian and cycle paths, and grazing land. It will therefore provide many community and environmental benefits for both the existing residents of Newquay and future residents of the Nansledan development to enjoy. The landscaped park will accommodate some 350,000m3 of spoil that will cater for arisings from the whole development and will avoid some 50,000 lorry movements!

In what has been a busy month, we've enjoyed being match sponsors of Somerset’s first T20 match of the summer and also attending the Michelmores Property Awards 2015 Gala Dinner where we were delighted to be shortlisted in the Professional Firm of the Year category. We were very impressed by the excellent portfolio of projects undertaken across the region over the last 12 months; congratulations to all of the winners of the various awards.

And finally for this month, the above photo is of the AWP footy team following a recent match against another of our long-standing clients, Wainhomes.
