Our selected project for this month's news update is the latest addition to our Renewable Energyportfolio. We've been working for BioWatt Developmentson a new AD plant at Creditonover the last few months and recently completed our work to enable the planning application to be submitted. We look forward to helping BioWatt deliver this 'gas to grid' plant over the coming months.

We've had another successful month with a number of projects being granted planning permissions or technical approvals. We've summarised a few of these, below, and you can follow the links for more details:

  • Dartmoor National Park Authority's Planning Committee unanimously voted to grant planning permission for a new development we have been working on in Chagford with Grainge Architectsfor CG Fry.
  • In Westbury, Wiltshire, planning approval was granted for a residential development of up to 300 dwellings along with the relocation of the existing Sailing Club. We undertook our normal suite of engineering work over the last few months to support the successful planning application submitted by Alder Kingfor Square Bay.
  • Exeter City Council granted full planning permission for an improved highway accessto the Cedars Hospital we have recently designed for the Devon Partnership NHS Trust.
  • Following on from Alex'sinput into a successful planning appleal for Devonshire Homeslast month, we're pleased to report a similar success at Uffculme for long standing client Richard Persey. Again, we look forward to helping deliver this much-needed new housing in Mid Devon.
  • We obtained a full set of S104, S38 and S278 approvalsfor a residential development at Bickington in North Devon for Wainhomes. Our planning team helped secure planning permission for this site last year.

And now that the evenings are drawing out, we ventured out for our first outdoor AWP social of the season. 18 of us enjoyed our first experience of Footgolf - which understatedly describes itself as the 'best sport ever invented'. Needless to say our AWP golf pro Rodinwon, but the video below shows some of the other 'highlights'.
