RMA approval for CG Fry scheme at Wellington

Taunton Deane Borough Council has approved the reserved matters for the first two phases of a major development on the edge of Wellington in Somerset.

The scheme, at Jurston Farm, is part of a mixed-use urban extension. We have been working closely with CG Fry's in-house team to build on the work we undertook last year which helped secure outline planning permission for the whole scheme.

The full scheme consists of 650 homes, a central square with new shops, a new primary school and a new roundabout access served from the A38.

We have recently completed the S278 applicationfor the roundabout which is currently with SCC Highways for approval. Construction works are expected to start this summer.
