Royal Winchester House
Bracknell, Berkshire
AWP provided strategic infrastructure advice and support in securing planning permission for the redevelopment of the former 3M Building office block at Bracknell for 311 high quality apartments.
The scheme is part of the ongoing Bracknell regeneration area and client Comer Homes worked closely with Bracknell Regeneration Partnership to ensure that the two interrelated projects meshed together and complimented each other.
The Royal Winchester House scheme will also provide new public realm for Bracknell in the form of a new Market Square together with new pedestrian connections and cycleways through the site and public realm links to the new retail space being created by BRP.
With permission granted for the scheme, demolition works were undertaken during 2017. Construction of the new building has progressed well on site and apartments are now ready for occupation.
We undertook the detailed infrastructure design to secure S278 and S38 highway design and S104 and S185 sewerage Technical Approvals. Chris led our team undertaking this work.
