"Ian and the team at AWP have worked tirelessly to address the significant local concerns and achieve no technical objections on our scheme meaning that, after much opposition, we were very pleased that Teignbridge Council granted us planning permission. We look forward to continuing to work with AWP in delivering infrastructure for employment development on the site."

Recent planning successes:

  • A mixed use development of 255 dwellings, a GP surgery, a Community Hall and an element of employment space on greenfield land to the north of Stratton Road, Bude, Cornwall for client South West Strategic Developments was unanimously approved by Cornwall Council. A supplementary application for a single-form entry primary school as part of the wider masterplan was also approved.
  • In Exeter an application for a 127 bed student accommodation block at Quintana Gatewas approved by Exeter City Council.
  • Three residential schemes in Hampshire for Southcott Homes including 120 dwellings in Bishops Waltham and smaller developments in Winterslow and Southampton were all recently approved.

We undertook our normal suite of engineering works to help secure all of the above planning permissions.

We have been working with Cavanna Homeson various phases of their Yannons Farmdevelopment in Paignton for a number of years. It's a challenging site with some tricky engineering issues to overcome, but our design team led by Rodinhas recently received this excellent feedback (on the left of this page) about their involvement.

So what is the image above for this month's news update? Bonus points to all of you who correctly identified this as a Battery Energy Storage Facility. We were asked to prepare a FRAto support a planning application for a site in Surrey.

And did we mention our new website? No, oh well, that must be in next month's news then.
