Planning permission for Fingle Glen Golf Club

We were delighted to hear that Teignbridge District Council granted planning approval for Fingle Glen Golf Club to construct 25 new log cabins to provide additional year-round income.
The new cabins will be located on the current 1st hole and the existing driving range will be remodelled to provide a new 18th hole with a new green in front of the existing clubhouse. The improvements to the golf club also include the introduction of four new driving range simulators.
We were appointed to undertake a Flood Risk Assessment which focused on a sustainable drainage solution to ensure that there would be no increase in flood risk to any downstream properties. We worked closely with hmad | architects to integrate the required SuDS drainage features into the remodelled golf course design.
We also prepared a Transport Statement to support the detailed planning application.
The AWP golfers look forward to visiting the updated course in the new future.
