"We engaged AWP to undertake pre-planning engineering work on our Hope House site in Bath. They did an excellent job in liaising with and obtaining technical approvals from the local approving authorities and we can happily recommend them to any potential client."

Hope House

Bath

Hope House is a large Grade II listed house which forms part of the Royal High Junior School. It is located along with some newer flat roofed buildings on a steeply sloping site to the south of Lansdown Crescent and within the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.

AWP were appointed by developer Square Bay to provide engineering input to the developing masterplan for a prestigious development of fifty-eight 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and houses located on this challenging brownfield site. We prepared a Transport Statement, Utilities Assessment and a Flood Risk Assessment to support a detailed Planning Application that was approved by BANES early in 2015.

We subsequently provided engineering input to enable Acorn to discharge planning conditions in advance of starting construction on site.
