Bletchingdon
Oxfordshire
Building on our relationship developed whilst working together on Poundbury for land-owner the Duchy of Cornwall, we were appointed by Zero C to undertake the detailed infrastructure design for their development at Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire.
The development, marketed as Duchy Field, was designed by Francis Roberts Architects and draws on the principles of the Arts and Crafts Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The scheme consists of 40 open market houses, a further 18 affordable houses, a new village primary school and playing field, a village hall and shop.
Rodin's team secured S38, S104 and S278 Technical Approvals to enable Zero C to start work on site and provided technical support through the construction phase. Work is nearing completion and, as can be seen from the photos above, the completed houses look fantastic.
