As part of our work with the Duchy of Cornwall and Zero C on the Truro Eastern District Centre, we have helped deliver the new Waitrose foodstore and Taste of Cornwall building.
The 'Cornish Food Centre', designed by Ben Pentreath & Associates, contains a local foodstore, Taste of Cornwall, which offers locally-sourced produce, together with a Waitrose supermarket. As can be seen from the image above, the new foodstore was designed using traditional materials and has been masterplanned to integrate with the wider Truro Eastern District Centre.
Pete has led our input on this scheme which has included preparing surface water and foul drainage strategies and co-ordinating services provision by the utility companies.
