Tregunnel Hill
Newquay, Cornwall
Tregunnel Hill is a mixed-use neighbourhood on Duchy of Cornwall owned land on the south-western edge of Newquay town centre. It comprises 174 high quality homes, including 48 two- and three-bedroomed affordable homes, and employment space for around 30 jobs.
As can be seen by the photos above, the completed Tregunnel Hill scheme looks really impressive with an exceptionally high standard of craftsmanship delivered by long-standing AWP clients CG Fry & Son and Morrish Builders.
Pete led our team working on this project for the Duchy alongside Adam Architecture. Building on the success of this project, we were appointed to undertake our full scope of engineering work to support the larger Nansledan development which is currently being constructed.
We are pleased that this scheme has won many awards over the years, most recently the Congress for New Urbanism Charter Award 2018 in the USA and being Highly Commended at the Planning Awards 2018.
